Building and Fencing Permits
If you plan to construct a deck, an addition, finish a basement, put in new doors or windows or make other major repairs or modifications to your home you will need a building permit.
If you want to put up a fence you will need an administrative permit from the city.
Please complete the appropriate permit form and bring to the city offices. In the case of building projects, our building inspector will approve the project, assign the fees and then inspect the project after it is completed.
If you are building a fence our Maintenance Supervisor will give you the permit.
