Memorial Day

Memorial Day 2022 will mark a special occasion for American Legion Post 305 and Auxiliary.  The new Veteran's Memorial Wall, including all the names of Waverly area deceased Veterans, will be dedicated in Railroad Park as part of the traditional Memorial Day Ceremony.  The Parade, one of the very few where Veterans march in their original service uniforms, will begin at 10:30.  A service and dedication will follow at 11:00 am in Railroad Park.  The service honors all Waverly veterans from the Civil War to the present.

Members of the Waverly Fire Department will serve refreshments following the Parade and Railroad Park Ceremony in Railroad Park.  

All Veterans are welcome to march whether or not a member of the Legion.
