How long does it take to get a building permit?
New and minor construction projects typically take up to 2 weeks to process on all necessary documentation has been submitted to the City. The City of Waverly uses Metro West Inspections as their building inspectors. Once permits are submitted to the City, they get sent to Metro West for review. After Metro West has reviewed the permit and applied the required fees, it is returned to the City. City Hall will contact you via phone once your permit is ready to be paid for and picked up at City Hall.
