Can I bring my dog to the park?
Following City Code, no dogs are allowed at Legion Park regardless of being leashed or not. Dogs are allowed in neighborhood parks (any park other than Legion park) as long as they are leashed. Owners MUST clean up debris left by their dogs in parks. See code below:
§ 95.01 LEGION PARK.
(A) Except for special events scheduled in advance with the City Clerk/Treasurer, the Legion Park shall not be used or occupied between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. of the following day. Overnight parking and camping are prohibited.
(B) No person owning or harboring any animal shall permit or allow the animal any access to the Legion Park. All animals are prohibited from entering Legion Park regardless of whether or not the animals are leashed.

§ 95.02 COMMUNITY/NEIGHBORHOOD PARKS.
(A) No person shall remove, break, destroy, injure, mutilate, deface or damage in any way any structure, monument, statue, vase, foundation, fence, railing, flag pole, vehicle, bench, tree, shrub, fern, plant, flower, fireplace or other property in any city park.
(B) Noises or obnoxious behavior reasonably tending to annoy other persons within or without any city park is prohibited.
(C) Dogs are permitted in community/neighborhood parks other than Legion Park as long as they are leashed. It is required that dog owners clean up debris left by their dogs in community/neighborhood parks.
