Waverly Knights of Columbus

The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic, fraternal service organization, whose principles are charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism.

The local council was formed in the early 1900s and now has approximately 180 members. The Knights are very active in pro-life issues and participate in area parades with a pro-life float.

The Knights hold many fundraising events throughout the year to support charitable giving. They sponsor a free-throw contest for area youth, Special Olympics, award scholarships, and support religious retirement. The Knights also help the after prom committee with a pancake breakfast, and contribute to the local Cub Scouts.

The KC Hall in Waverly is available to rent for graduations, showers, or reunions. The hall seats 150. For more information, call Ted Hanson at #612-483-4526.
